The Maple School gymnasiums and halls were packed with enthusiastic students during the annual PTO Volley-Bash, which was held on January 31 at Maple School.
Over 140 kids participated in volleyball games in the east and west gymnasiums, while PTO volunteers sold baked goods, and provided pizza and drinks. It was a win-win afternoon of collegiality and fun for students in grades 5-8!
Long-time Volley-Bash coordinators Julie St. John and Kim Fagin were really happy with the turnout and agreed that it was really exciting to have the event in the new Maple School gymnasiums.
The Student Council sold the baked goods during the event to raise money for the Philly Baer Foundation, in memory of beloved Maple School Student Philly Baer. For more information, go to phillybaerfoundation.org

Nearly 200 participants including staff volunteers and Student Council members actively participated in the 6th Annual Volley-Bash. We thank you for your support while encouraging your student to play or be a fan. We would like to extend our gratitude to Kitt Kopach and the Athletic Department. We truly appreciated your enthusiasm, dedication, and hard work. Each is an essential element that helped make the Volley-Bash successful.
