Maple PTO Not for Profit Status

In August the PTO received 501c3 status – we now have received non-profit and sales tax exempt approval with the state of Illinois. The process is now complete! What does this mean to you? As we made you aware during PTO registration, you can write-off donations to Maple School PTO. The official Sales Tax Exempt letter is available on the Treasurer page of our website. PTO Committee Chairs: Moving forward, we cannot reimburse for sales tax fees, except for Costco and Sam’s Club purchases.
