Over the past several weeks, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates have met with community and staff members during individual interviews and focus group meetings to gather input in determining the primary characteristics desired in the new District 30 Superintendent. Numerous sessions were held with individuals and groups, in addition to two open community forums, and two District 30 employee forums. An online survey was used to gather additional input from parents, employees, and community members during this time. The interviews, focus group meetings, and the survey also provided information about the strengths and challenges of the school system for the future.

Using the information collected, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates drafted the Leadership Profile Report and the desired characteristics of the next Superintendent.  The Board discussed and finalized versions of the Desired Characteristics and the Leadership Profile Report at a Committee Meeting on May 15, 2014.
